Greenghost
Hello, I know this is more from the classic forum but has a propeller too. Can you recommend a color or mix in the Tamiya, Gunze or Vallejo range for the RFC natural and doped linen color used in bottom of WWI airplanes?
dogsbody
I don't have a mix for any of these paint brands, but many decades ago, for a Revell 1/72 Sopwith Triplane, I mixed some Testors Flat Tan into some Testors Flat White and it came out quite nicely. Joe Hegedus
I've heard of people using Gunze "Sail Color" for clear doped linen. I don't have access to that line, so I can't say exactly what color it is. I'm using Model Master "Radome Tan" mixed with white and it seems to look OK to me.
