Brad-M
Guys, A couple of questions; first, what colour yellow for the all yellow and black stripe version; and was the demarcation line between the two colours hard, soft or in between? TIA Brad
Emvar
Well..... this is just my opinion..... I'd do hard lines..... and depending on the photo anything from yellow to chrome yellow would work. I don't know if patrick martin has the call outs in his books. Edit I just checked PM s books. Standard airfield equipment yellow 505-101 yellow. Also checked my ipms paint chart..... I'd do just a regular yellow. http://hedgehoghollow.com/buzz/Colour_Guide/aircraft_clr.html Cheers Emil Edited November 7, 2017 by Emvar

Flyboyf18
The very first 'Tiger' would have had hard lines since it was essentially hand paint by volunteers. The Tiger heads are quite different because they had no masks so each group on each side of the bird painted what they thought was good. From then on my understanding is that the paint shop did the work with proper equipment, so read sprayed on. As always pics help to confirm details.

If you have Patrick Martin’s CF-104 book it has very good pictures of all of them.
