Chriss7607
I've been wanting to try this stuff for a while and finally got some. I was wondering if any enamel thinner will work to clean it up or does it HAVE to be Tamiya's enamel thinner. I wouldn't think there would be a difference but I'd like to hear from others who have used it to make sure.
zerosystem
I've been using the big square Testors thinner bottles to clean up after the wash is applied and haven't had any issues.
okthree
I just tried Tamiya panel wash for the first time and used odor less paint thinner. Seemed to work fine.
Geoff M
I bought some turpenoid used to thin oil paints, works good.
Chriss7607
Thanks for the replies- that's what I needed to know! Hobby Lobby carries a good variety of enamel thinners including Model Master and Turpenoid so I will be good to go. I couldn't find anyone who carries the Tamiya stuff, which is why I had to find an alternative. Thanks again!
