Cockpit photos! I'm not too fond of the ejection seat so I ordered another one.

Actually, as you mention, the seat is pretty much the biggest thing you can improve. The cockpit itself isn't bad (and you've already done great things with it) but very little of it can be seen canopy up or down. The seat on the other hand is very visible. A good resin one will make all the difference.

Hah. I did most of that today. Beer can never get in the way. Nothing goes together better than CA, hobby knives and beer.

Update:

Added the wings and completed the empennage. Painted all the red stuff and masked the canopies. My compluter is broken right now so I have to wait to get it fixed to post pictures. I think tonight I will paint the top half of the scooter and maybe the bottom half tomorrow.

One thing though, I've been experimenting with the drop tanks of my F/A-18C on making the seams dissapear and I haven't had much luck in doing it. I've sanded, and sanded, and sanded, and they still won't go away. Any ideas?

Not much to show tonight. Over the last 2 days I've laid down a couple of coats of paint. I sprayed a very thinned coat of grey then sanded and buffed it. I laid down a second coat last night. I like the results of that. The paint feels smooth without having to sand and buff the second coat. Much to my

dismay though I forgot to add some of the antennae and such and am now considering either handpainting or just sanding, buffing and laying down another thin layer. I also tried my hand at rescribing panel lines and further appreciate the "If it ain't broke don't fix it" mantra.

This is the beast that has been keeping me from finishing my A-4. Started in December.

She's almost done. VMFA-232 markings that came with the kit. My best model yet. Hell I already have the next 2 models I'm building planned out and know what I'm going to do.

That is all.
