oldHooker
circa 1967: Aurora Aero Commander in 1/72 I posted the build-up in the Props section, but thought I'd share a couple pictures of the finished product with you folks. Without further ado, "Foré!" Enjoy, Frank

oldHooker
Thanks MJ and Clif!! They'll never be another Bob Hoover, that's for sure! My Commander is the oddball amidst the flood of Military aircraft, and where I've never flown an attack/fighter/bomber, I can personally relate to such antics in the civil birds! (years ago mind you... back when you could do things like that without going to prison) Thanks again, Frank
John Krukowski
Nice looking airplane, and I really like the looks of your spinning props, very effective! Cool idea and the whole thing's really well done. John

oldHooker
Thanks Gregg; there was a time in the not so distant past, when doing something like that wouldn't be looked on as a crime. Wouldn't dare do it now days though! Take care, Frank Edited March 1, 2010 by oldHooker
The Mikester
That is great, love it! Reminds me of the time an Egyptian Mig pilot buzzed our site about 30 ft. off the ground at Cairo West, had everyone face down in the sand!
