Daan
Really nice, you did a great job! I like the close up of the front. Question: where did you get those pilots? Cheers, Daan
arc01
Thanks, Daan, the pilot figures came with the kit, believe it or not. I'll try to post more pictures Edited November 15, 2011 by arc01

RotorheadTX
Excellent color choices, looks like the real Paris Airshow bird. All the small detail stencil decals really make it 'snap'. I hope mine turns out as good (someday).
shepard
Hi there... greetings from Brazil...very nice looking helo.... What color did you use on the tanks?? it is different of the belly blue? shep
arc01
Thank you guys! I have seen models where stencils add to the realism, so this is the first time I made my own decals. Of course, I ruined the first few decal sheets before the guy at the LHS said to use Testors Decal Bonder. That saved the day! The paint I used for this project: Dark camo: Model Master Italian Olive Green2112. Light camo: Model Master Italian Olive Green2112 lightened with Model Master Yellow. Underside: Humbrol enamel 47 Blade top side: Humbrol enamel 47 Fuel tanks: Humbrol enamel 89 To get the gloss effect on the fuel tanks I used Gumout Carb and Choke for thinner, this stuff is fantastic. Oh, I forgot, the Aluminum sheen on the pods is achieved with a pinch of SnJ Polishing Powder mixed with Future floor polish, then sprayed in light layers. arc01
Got a problem here: I can't see your pictures. Sorry about that. The server just dropped them out. I am in the process of re-posting some if not all of the pictures on Photobucket. Will post a link when I accomplish this. Borislav I put some pictures back. Scroll to the top of the page, there are some more pictures. Edited July 19, 2012 by arc01
