ChippyWho
Does anyone happen to know if white latex paint for slooshing into model aircraft intake tracts is generally available in the (until Thursday?!) UK? Is it usually a decorating product, or is this stuff anywhere close to what the ARC cognoscenti use? Or will it turn my builds into legions of the Living Dead? Could be suitable for that AC Pumpkin Head Tomcat, I suppose... As usual, any thoughts welcome! TIA. Edited September 17, 2014 by ChippyWho
Bob Beary
It should be. It's just regular interior/exterior latex house paint...same stuff you put on the walls. Bob

ChippyWho
The last time I asked B&Q about latex paint they had a blank face No idea what I was asking for I got a similar response. Also at Homebase. And DoItAll. When I tried an 'independent' specialist decorating supplies store, I had to explain that I was looking for a local equivalent to an American/Canadian product. The response was a thinly veiled indication that if I wanted an American product, I should s*d off to America... Ya can't beat good ole fashioned customer service! Janissary
I would say ask for their selection of interior wall paint. Then ask about the different types. Those that you use water to thin down should be ok. When you're using it though, don't thin it. Here in the US, these are the most commonly found types and places like Home Depot, Lowes etc. They have sample sizes, which is ideal for our needs. Piker38
I'm not an expert, but I think we're talking about what is sold as 'emulsion' paint in the UK........
