  1. Danish F-104G and F-104F all had the Martin Baker seat - these was installed almost at delivery in 1965. When the RDAF bought used CF-104's in the early 1970'ties, they were all converted to F-104G standard and MB-seats was installed at the same time. The shortage of two seaters was so desperate, that when the canadian airframes was delivered some or all of the two-seaters were pressed into service before conversion (but not before MB seats had replaced the original seats) Guess they really liked the MB-seats
  2. Did some research on Danish DXXI's 10 years ago, and my (Danish) sources agreed the cockpits was painted light grey. I haven't seen the Phalanx-book, but think I've seen the 'aluminum dope'-picture you mention. This is probably one of the two airframes delivered from Fokker, but I think the 'metal-look' is an optical illusion. I'll try to check my references, when I get home tonight. Lars
  3. Scruffy looking Hunter - just like it shoud be I'm especially impressed with effects you got with pastels - might try this, when I get around to finishing my 2. RDAF Hunter. Looking forward to more Lars
  4. The battery is a medium blue (frame is white) and the air bottle is painted silver/aluminium Lars
  5. The Britten Norman Islander is from Malta Airliners.Net Lars Myrup Lassen - who also speaks Danish :D
  6. The F.Mk.51 was Hawkers version of the Mk.4 delivered to the Royal Danish Air Force - If my memory is not completely rotten G-HUNT went on to the civilian register with only limitied modification (paratail?) Several years later the dogtooth leading edge was added along with a major overhaul. Lars
  7. Drewe's basically correct (though Terma is Danish - not dutch). But here's an article from Defense Helicopter that you might find usefull AMASE Lars
