no seatbelts and buckles included... mine doesn't have one... i'm thinking of just putting masking tape seatbelts bec i'm planning to enter this in our yearly natls as OOB... :(

update 9.28.05: the spitfire was in the paintbooth since last saturday... i've already done underside painting and the Dark Earth Camo... that's it for now... ;D

while using my 150, i notice that bubble start appearing on the color cup, then the spray starts to sputter and blobs of paint start to come out of the tip. I have ensured that the brush was thoroughly clean... i check the needle and there were no abnormalities, no blockage on the paint cup... what do you think is the problem? thanks!!!

update on my spitfire... just finished the cockpit... closed up the fuselage... here's a photo of the instrument panel inside the cockpit: fuselage + wings: the brothers: the little spit is for my other GB.

Hi! Up to what version of the P-47 used the early version of the Pratt & Whitney R-2800? I have the Aires set in 1/72 and I wanted to make sure what's the correct P-47 to install it to. thanks!

hi! just want to post some in progress pics of my MkI spitfire... basically the cockpit is painted and washed. the photo was taken when the wash was still wet... the seat, i was told was too red... i'll add more brown to it before i close the fuselage... archerwin

on trapping moisture without using a moisture trap? I heard something abt using a coiled rubber hose... will this work? thanks!

p-47 & P-51 series are excellent kits! the only drawback for academy kits are the decals... maybe that's why they're cheaper than the other brands... but overall, it's worth the $$$ you pay for it.
