  1. affordability is a personal issue, if you can't afford it now then why buy it, you may have all the money but it does not mean you can spend it all for your happiness, you have to understand prices are not always the same from place to place, who would buy a $500 kit anyway(maybe you?) but i rather buy affordable hobbyboss kit here at the end of the day it will just be part of my stash somewhere in the house to place another kit from the ever larger stash. and don't write it on the net if you are bothered by its hefty price there locally, order it with friends and have it shipped from Asia and
  2. @ Jason: Pinoy ka? check mo IPMS Philippines. mas ok hobbyboss kung ilabas na nila ung kit. daryl
  3. @ Netz: i think shape issues can be done by the hobbyist itself, find alternatives in getting hold of a Hobbyboss kit, hasegawa has some issues also which one should not pull out, I think MSRP from the manufacturer is just fairly low but the traders for the kit are the ones making the kit expensive. i rather have fun building a kit(brand) rather than bash it even before it is released. daryl
  4. for the high pressure, just make holes for the air from the compressor air out to your airbrush, put holes until desired air pressure output from the airbrush is achieved. the longer the line the better the make holes. almost no cost man, now wheres that mentos add. ;) daryl
  5. hi there superheat, but i beg to disagree the national insignia on this plane is the hi-vis one, PAF low-viz insignias don't have a white background.
  6. i love your build man! the harder the better! i won't complain with this kit, here its already been sold a lot, hobbyist touring the country or Fil-Ams (Filipino American) hobbyist got it here, nothing like a good relative back home.
  7. the pricing in the US is an effect from its local distributors and re-sellers. at the end shipping ain't cheap plus the insurance and everything.
  8. all is not yet lost i think, here in the Philippines the F-111A and Tornado will just be released in couple of weeks or less, Trumpeter may still re-consider release, maybe someone could talk to Haneto as he has more closer relations with the engineers in china.
  9. will gladly take photos tomorrow but i cannot promise a picture outside its protective glass casing. enjoy!
  10. would you like me to take some more pictures of this:? taken from IPMS Philippines BA National's.
  11. quick solution is to place thinner first to your airbrush (cup/bottle) before adding paint (applicable to all paints) and better would be mixing paint first in a mixing bottle before placing the paint into the airbrush. gunze is the best paint in-town.
  12. hope to see you speed at the party this saturday!
