Decant. Tried it straight from the can at first and realized pretty quick there was no way to get an even coat. My ventilation is not so good, so the vapor gets pretty stout. That's why I'm going to try Vallejo's clear finishes. I knew Tamiya had clear base in bottles, but didn't know they also had finishes.

Oops, I thought you meant the spray. I’ve been using Tamiya’s gloss and flat spray, which I guess is a lacquer.

I noticed the same thing when I started using Tamiya clear. I like it better than Future, except I have to remember that it’s not acrylic. I bought some Vallejo acrylic spray in gloss, semi-gloss and flat that I’m going to try next. Outstanding work, as usual Isaac. I save your WIP threads and add them to my reference library. -dave

Finished my Tamiya 1:48 Brewster Buffalo...almost. Still have a few bits here and there to tack on. This is the first kit I've completed in over 3 years and only the fourth or so in 15 years, so I wasn't expecting it to be perfect...and I wasn't disappointed . More mistakes than you can shake a stick at, but even so it feels good to be getting back into the game. Yep, I know the telescopic site is missing.
