  1. Wow, nice looking stuff. Hey Zactoman, I went to your site and sent you an email but it has been bouncing back. Is your inbox full? I would like to order some of your nice looking Su-27 stuff
  2. Your shots came out pretty good considering it was overcast that day Sean. It's funny but I forgot to take full shots of the aircraft like you did and only did detail stuff but still managed to shoot 350 pictures Got to remember for next time.
  3. Thanks Jen, yup you're right. I thought I could use it here at work but maybe I'll try it at home.
  4. How do you get it for free. There is a trial version and then you have to pay $33.00 US for the single user edition. Maybe I am looking at the wrong part of their site?
  5. Yeah I read that release date yesterday and was a bit floored :( :( :( Not that it really matters as I have the first and second release of the Frog to even start on. I even have in my plans, one of the Swedish versions but I am really not looking forward to that splinter camo. Hmm, maybe if I start on the blades first it may give me the umph to do it. Then there is the Japanese rescue schemes with all that day-glo and yellow... Arghhh too many schemes, not enough time :)
  6. Okay from what I gather from reading the translation of this site, it appears that this is the upcoming Academy 1/48 CH-113 kit. Looks nice I think. Can hardly wait http://kwat.gooside.com/photo/kit/48ch113.htm
  7. D'Oh I guess I should have put a link up, eh? Here is the link to Part's web site http://www.part.pl/ Click on the 32/35 link and scroll down to the Hind sets. Cheers Chris
  8. You should see the FOUR sets PART has already released for Trumpeter's Hind. I picked them up and holy cow, the etch is most impressive. Part has pictures on their site if you are interested in seeing the layout of the sets.
  9. Well that's easy 1/48th scale CH-53E CH-47 UH-1Y EH-101 S-92 CH-64 1/35th SH-60 You 1/72nd guys are so lucky. Most of these kits exist in that scale. Us 1/48th and 1/35th guys have to either scratch build or wait years. Case in point, we are only now seeing an SH-60 in 1/48th and it does not even exist in 1/35th.
  10. Hey Sean Looks good so far. I was hoping to see it at the meeting on Wednesday but I guess you were busy. I did mention to Percy that you were doing me a favour as I too think that Hasegawa will release one.
  11. Wow, great stuff there It was interesting that Monogram never issued the A in 1/48 probably because of poor sales of the D or at least that was what I have heard.
  12. Believe it or not I use liquid cement to debond screw ups. I mostly build with liquid cement and I rewet the joint and it comes apart. I am not sure how this would work with tube glues.
  13. I use an industrial mask with two organic filters. Works really well since I don't smell a thing. Hey Pierre is that the wing of your A380 you are spraying there? I really enjoyed what you have done so far on that kit. I cannot believe how large it is. I thought the A340 was big!!!
