  1. Glad you made it through safely. Coming along nicely. Keep at it, it will look great in the end.
  2. We are definitely watching. Keep posting. It is coming along great. Yup, unfortunately it seems Facebook has taken away a lot of the viewers at most sites. Too bad as I don't really do Facebook
  3. Wow, great work. I think I will stick with the kit rotor head though. To me, it looks like way too much work for a marginal increase in detail level. The kit rotor head is actually pretty nice, especially after plumbing it.
  4. Thanks Oliver. I used Testors Model Master Medium Green (FS34102).
  5. Looks like it is coming along nicely. I too have the Werner's Wings update sets. How was adding the CABS to the glare shield? They look good.
  6. The 1/35 one looks nice. Hopefully someone buys the KH molds and re-releases them soon.
  7. Looking better by the day. Reedoak out of France does 1/35 3D printed figures that include USN Pilots, Deck Crewmen, and Mechanics. They look awesome, I have a few for future projects. http://reedoak.com/#!/1-35/c/13281305/offset=20
  8. Coming along nicely. You can still find them on eBay for about the same as they were going for earlier, around $125. https://www.ebay.ca/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p2380057.m570.l1313&_nkw=1/35 MH-60L&_sacat=0#item1f2f41b80e
  9. Great business model; insult your potential customers and tell them they don't know what they are talking about. That will sell lots of sets.
  10. Thanks gents. I have built the main and tail rotors, just need to take some pics of them. I also have the crew started as well. I hope to have an update later this coming weekend.
  11. They look both great. Any chance on a 1/35 version that will fit the Kitty Hawk H-60 kits?
  12. Since he doesn't even have the aircraft nomenclatures correct on his Facebook Page, I'm not sure of the accuracy. There is no such thing as an MH-60M MedEvec. It is an HH-60M; which is a totally different aircraft.
  13. Fuselage is 17 1/2" from the nose to tip of tail. Rotor span is 22". It is about the same length as a 1/35 Black Hawk, but almost twice as tall. Like I said, it's big.
  14. Sure. It measures right about 4 1/2 inches to the top of the fuselage.
  15. Thanks L.D. I am really enjoying this build.
  16. Work has continued...slowly. I have applied the decals and sealed them down. I used a set of decals from Heli-Scale Quality out of Germany for the USMC and YN19-specific markings. The Heli-Scale Quality decals snugged down really well and came out looking nicely. No issues with them at all. The rest of the stencils and aircraft placards are from the Fly Models kit. I also got her up on her wheels, no issues there either. Here she is so far. Next up is some weathering and deciding on a crew or not. I still need to make the exhausts and build t
