Hi there! So with my previous build slowly getting to an end (i litterally have one more thing to add before gluing canopy and calling it done) I figured I could try and squeeze one more build into this GB :) As usual the choice came with a story of its own ;) I was actually going for one more Hasegawa 1/72 F/A-18 (this time a single seater from VFA-113) in order to apply some of my new ideas to the build and to check how much time it actually takes to perform every task. Worthy goal I figure, nice decals too. But.... About that time it turned out that I've had to

Got this at a steal for less than 10USD. Tried to bend the rotors with a hairdryer. Some blades made it, one or two were overdone.

Hi there. Can I go first? When I saw the announcement I just knew right away what to build. This Tomcat, along with VF-103 christmass special scheme has been on my mind for a while now. The 1977 variation of VF-142 scheme. There are quite a few photos of this jet on the net. I'm using the 1/72 scale Hobby Boss Tomcat. Never built it before, so that's new. Very nice boxart. OOB Decals I'll be using. There was a while I considered the VF-41 gray/white scheme. But I'm sticking to this one. I did start this kit a ye

Hey everyone! Well, I haven't done an in-progress thread in awhile, but since this project is my first real conversion (and one of my favorite aircraft), I thought I would do one for this... Besides, I may need some support and may have some questions along the way. 🙂 So the base kit for this is the Hobby Boss Su-30MKK, and I will be using the Naza Model Art Su-30MKM conversion set. I also have Fishbone decals for this aircraft. I will also be using a L'Arsenal Aero Damocles pod, AMUR Reaver Thrust Vectoring Exhausts, Master Model Pitot, and Neomega seats.

Hi all! Well, it's that time again... Another finished project! This time it is the 1/48 Hobby Boss Su-30MKM Flanker-H conversion from the base Su-30MKK kit using the Naza Model Art MKM conversion. The build WIP thread can be viewed here: The Su-30MKM is the Malaysia specific variant of the Su-30, based off of the Indian Su-30MKI. It has canards and thrust vectoring exhaust in common with that aircraft, however there are many things that make the MKM unique among Flankers. It utilizes western avionics from France and South Africa, and many feature not seen on

Switching gear this week and taking a look at another armor kit, with Hobby Boss' 1/48th scale Pz.Kpfw KV-1. This week is also the first week that we will be doing videos in 4K, which should hopefully help improve the ability to see detail on kit parts.

There is HB model (actually chinese J- 11B, that almost the same) done as 968 IIAP CO mount in the middle of 90th of the past century. There are some add-ons: lovres and meshes set and nozzles from A.M.U.R. Reaver, Brassin Missiles and rails from Eduard. I corrected the wheel wells shape and made new engine intakes. Some other minor improvements was made here and there. More photos here on Flickr!
