Hi, I’m looking for tailcode decals or paint masks for my 1/48 F-4E. The decals I have for a Soesterberg 32nd TFS USAFE bird are way too dark. Of course I can cut my own masks from kabuki tape, using the decals as a guide, but pre-cut masks or decals will probably be somewhat more straight… Are there any manufacturers who sell such a product? photo by Henk Scharringa.

I guess I'm still in a Voodoo mood. And with this one goes well with some Gene Autry music. "The stars at night... are big and bright...." Here's something I finished yesterday titled "Heart of Texas." This is a 36x12 inch piece featuring McDonnell F-101B Voodoos flown by the 111st Fighter Interceptor Squadron ("Ace in the Hole") at Ellington ANGB in Houston, Texas. I'll be following up with a 111st FIS voodoo profile as a companion piece. I'll post that once it's finished. This is now available through my website, or my Fine Art America page (see my signature, bel

Hello! This is my post Korean War F-86F from Hasegawa. Very nice kit, no issues at all. Since the decals were quite old and “yellowed”, I got a new set from Aeromaster. Metallic paint were automotive types and the rest from Gunze acrylics. Hope you enjoy! Cheers!

Hello, I am making Monogram's 1/48 F-80C in markings from Microscale (48-164), which seem to be rather poorly researched. I am attempting to make this aircraft (FT-591 'Spirit of Hobo' from the 80th FBS in 1952): I have the following questions: 1. Is it just me, or does it look like there are yellow flashes on the *horizontal* tail surfaces in the second photo above? No manufacturer who has issued these markings (Microscale, Aeromaster, Airfix, Hasegawa) has interpreted the scheme in this way, but I am sure I can see some

Hello Here is my most recent build with this 1/72 North American B-45A from Valom. This aircraft was from the 86th Bomb Squadron / 47th Bombardment Wing in 1954 at Sculthorpe RAF Station. The transfers came from a Caracal Models sheet and were very satisfactory. This kit is not for beginners and honestly one is enough. In the end the product is correct and will be published next month in the French magazine "Avion de combat". Patrick

This is my first build. Had lots and lots of issues throughout the process, but finally was able to finish it and am pretty happy with the overall results! If you'd like the full backstory on the journey, check out the in progress thread: Enjoy!
