Colin W
Here is my spash offering. Speacial Hobby Sopwith Schneider. I built my own seat and busied the cockpit with scrap and wire. Floats are packed with solid lead to make it sit tail up! All struts for wings and floats were replaced with splinters of cocktail sticks. Main bearers for floats being drilled into floats and fuselage to support the weight of the floats. The resin rudder was beautiful but too vulnerable so I replaced it with a new one made totally from brass. Quite an easy build, only 4 weeks from start to finish. Hope you enjoyed the pics. Dr Fester
Fantastic build Colin :) Really like the detail work and the wooden floats look very convincing. Splash website updated with your entry, our first of the Schneider entries complete. Thanks for your support. Doc
