su37flanker
I would like to start a thread off here, to show the best painted airliners. And the companies that make the Decals. Preferably in 1/144th scale, but others too. For example, the Simpsons 737-300 which is available from http://ultra.glo.be/daco/KSky34.html Please Please post some more of the most incredibly painted airliners. as these are what i want to build. not plain boring white airliners

su37flanker
Nice, i like that smart wings 737. You got any more? here's another one http://www.airliners.net/open.file?id=0111998 available from http://www.hannants.co.uk/search/?FULL=JD144022 I should have mentioned, i am looking for specially marked aircraft, not nicley painted ordinary airlines. So your BOAC doesnt count hahaha. Unless of course the airline operator paints the whole fleet outrageous Edited March 6, 2007 by su37flanker

Wayne
I flew on Cebu Pacific in January. Cebu City to Manila return, one way distance of about 325 miles. Return flight for my wife and I, before tax was less than $9.00CDN . Taxes brought the price up to about $98.00CDN but still a great deal. I have been working on making a set of decals for one of their A320s but was waiting till I got to the Philippines so I could check the proper colors. Turned out the plane we flew to Manila on was the very aircraft I had chosen to do up RP-C3241. Once my new PC gets set up I'll get back to work on the decals. si toman voy
Hellow fellows. My most beautiful marking is Royal Jordania airlines, because since the second half of 80th decade, this airline have a very advantage design, elegant, and ever more, those colours looks great in the aircraft. I don't know if there any decal avaliable, and it seems deficult to reproduce with own design. Here is some photos. http://www.airliners.net/open.file?id=0742...mp;photo_nr=414 747-2d3b in 1988, looks great http://www.airliners.net/open.file?id=0754...4226&size=L looks so good with the trsitar L1011 http://www.airliners.net/open.file?id=0713...1726&size=L Nowdays with airbus family still wearing the same paint scheme.
