Anybody make decals for this T-38?

Recommended Posts

Matt,

Its a T-38 assigned to Beale AFB, 9th SRW if I remember correctly. Lets their back seaters and co-pilot get stick time to build up hours. I believe they also use it as a "hack" as well. The ACE sticker i think means accelerated crew enhancement, or something like that. HTH.

Sorry, I forgot the other question, I think Twobobs or Superscale did that scheme up a few years ago.

You can get almost those exact markings on Superscale sheet 48-905. It will be the same squadron anyway, and the aircraft will be 64-13271:

Someone has the sheet available on eBay as well:

If you like it better in black, TwoBobs made the Beale markings:

Hey Matt,

Supescale just did the sheet for that colors. I can't remember the # now but I will get it to you soon. I'm working on the T-38 in 1/32 (collect-air kit) with these marking.

You guys rock my world!!!!

David-Yes I love that black T-38 with red lettering. I'm going to get the TwoBobs Ebony Talons sheet and do those in future. Just need more time, and I'm building this one for my brother and he likes the white ones for some reason.

Any markings available for Vance AFB with either two tone gray or all white in 1/48?

If one is available, I have the Two Bobs set, Ebony Talons, that I am willing to trade.

I couldn't find any Vance decals, just Randolph in grey and grey and Williams in insignia blue and white:

I just purchased this set on Ebay, I think it is right scheme and may have to make the "Vance" specific markings. Time to call my ALPS printer sources...
