lgl007
Nice work so far. Looks like a straightforward build? Any trouble thus far with the kit? And, how da devil do you keep your work area so clean... ? ;-P -Greg
romang
Hey John Nice start! I guess it's gonna be the "SUPERHEAT 210" too?! (The navy's first MIG-21 Killer). I'm building this bird in 1/48. But it's still a long way to go...
Tomcat Tweeker
Great work so far! Love the pit and pull rings... Especially in this scale!!
john53
Thanks for the compliments---Its going to be VF-162 Hunters , SN 203. It has been a straight forward build except pull rings I made out of copper wire from my fly tying box. Only problem was gap on strakes on rear fuselage bottom and trying to figure how missle rails went together---Hasegawa wasn't clear at all!!! Luckily there were lots of builds on web to straighten me out. Will start painting in the next week between my Mig-15, B-2, 2 F9F-5's,AV-8B, and just started 1/72 Fujimi A-7E builds. My Area isn't neat---I took pics in another room with a skylight in roof for better lighting---heres my "mess"---Thank sagain--John
john53
Finally got painting started. Am going to do flat white, then mask and do flat gull gray then gloss coat to makegloss gull gray over gloss white. I don't have a lot of luck spraying gloss without runs. Burner can is just set on, not glued----John
