Stephen
First of all apologies for the lighting in the pics as this was about as good as it got. This is the 1/48 Tamiya kit with the addition of a TD seat, gunpods and Napalm. I also added the FM antennae from fuse wire and made an ejection seat handle from some wire. The decals are from the kit and went down quite nicely,I used Xtracrylix paints for the main scheme sprayed freehand through my Aztek470. I added an oil wash (literally in the case of the droptank) as well as some chipped aluminium paint on the wings etc.The loadout is for a SAR aircraft ,the legendary "Sandy" .Reference material was from Squadron/Signal D&S,Walkaround and In Action as well as Warbird Tech which had lots of great pics of SAR alert aircraft. The kit went together in the space of hours and with no problems throughout. I enjoyed it so much I've started another to be backdated to a Korean War USN a/c.
