Mazda 81-84: 78-0674 (74th FS, marked 74 FS), 78-0697 (74th FS), 79-0138 (75th FS), 79-0186 (75th FS)Trend 53-54: 78-0679 (75th FS), 79-0192 (74th FS) All A-10´s are normaly flying with the 75th Fighter Squadron from Moody Air Force Base, Ga.Two A-10 arrived already earlier on Nov 8,2008 : FT 80-0140 & FT 80-0149 at Spangdahlem as "Trend 51" direct from Bagram Air Field. On the pictures you can see two A-10 which were flown into Spangdahlem from aircrews of the 81 Fighter Sqdn on December 1, 2008. Still equipped with 600 US gallon Sargent Fletcher drop tank and a nicely adorned nose section, these are really rare sights in Europe. Luckily on Monday the wx was better as expected in Spang , and so we were able to get at least two of them comming into SP :P As there was also lots of locals flying on that day, it was a successfull day at SP and here are the results, and the pictures will tell the rest of the story. Even a Canadian Globemaster arrived and so I´m really pleased with the results. As always c & c are more as welcome, and thanks for watching Cheers, Mick "FT" Hog on final... both arrived as "Iron 01 & 02 # 2 on final Rwy 23 Canadian Globemaster on final Local Hog on overshoot Stingers boss bird going around....
