Iwata compressors

Recommended Posts

Yes, but the Smartjet is better. Smartjets have auto off, and an extra coiled airhose that eliminates any cahnce of pulsation. You could hook a Sprintjet up to a foot switch to deal with the lack of auto off.

I've got a Smart Jet, and I love it! After years of using those loud Craftsman/Harbor Freight type compressors, I finally broke down and spent the money on the Iwata. I'll never go back; no more jumping out of my skin when the motor kicks on, and I can paint any time of the day or night without bothering other people in the house.

Be patient, compare prices, and watch the sales at Hobby Lobby and Jerrys Artarama - I managed to get one at 60% off "normal" retail!
