Scotsman Posted September 8, 2009 Share Posted September 8, 2009 beautiful work , and I'm sure it'll enhance the kit , However might I just ask whether there would be any chance of this set being scaled up to 32nd , The old Revell Mirage is pretty accurate , just wofully lacking in detail, we now have the fisher Pit , but a set of wheel wells would make a HUGE difference to the old girl.... there are a LOt of Revell Mirages out there just longing for some love! reromp Posted September 8, 2009 Author Share Posted September 8, 2009 Hi Terry, Definitely yes, due to the fuselage sprue is the same in Eduard kits. Hobbyboss kit is a copy (counterfeit?) of Eduard kit, but inside the fuselage there are some raised line, which must be sanded before fitting our cockpit set. (these are missing from EDU kits.) I'm 3/4s through a Hobbyboss Mirage right now so it's too late to use, but I've got a couple of Eduard kits waiting in the wings. I guess I'll have to get one underway so I can try your stuff. The reference pictures that I've found all show different colors on the wires, so a chose to keep them basic green and grey. If anyone has better reference pictures, I would love to see them!
