Bill Posted January 13, 2010 Share Posted January 13, 2010 Here is my completed entry for the ARC DOR Group Build. The kit is the HAS 1/32 FW 190 A-8 "Red 1". I think the pilot (Hans Dortenman) was shot down over Paris in 1944 in this plane and survived. He went on to fly the Dora later in the war and became a group commander. The kit is very nice and was a joy to build. The decals are from the box. The crosses on the side of the plane, bottom wing, and the nose spinner were applied with masking and airbrush. I know this is an overdone 190 but I really like the markings and have always wanted this plane in my collection. Thanks for the great group build guys and mods.
