Scotsman
Nice , thanks for the links, I wonder if they will issue the weapons sprues on their own those GBU-38's look very nice indeed .. I'd pay good money for them , over and above the F-16 kit!
gb_madcat_sl
Academy 1/32 F-16I Sufa up for pre-order on Luckymodel. LINK HERE Mark
Scotsman
Nice pics on the Lucky model site - to my againg eyes , it does look like Academy havn't done anything to correct the issues with the intake.. and the gear bays still look a little basic.. but hey its £57 plus plstage , to go the Tamiya/Resin route on this would cost 3 times what this kit costs , heck I'll live with the shape problems
phantomdriver
Think I can live with that too...
Wolf_el_Real
Wow!! Excellent! But, When Academy will release an F-16 Block 50M/52M (foreign new vipers) version? Regards
Matt Roberts
Nice pics on the Lucky model site - to my againg eyes , it does look like Academy havn't done anything to correct the issues with the intake.. and the gear bays still look a little basic.. but hey its £57 plus plstage , to go the Tamiya/Resin route on this would cost 3 times what this kit costs , heck I'll live with the shape problems Over on Zoan Phoive the some members of the Teen Fighter Mafia are not too impressed - but remember it is Academy and the main Viper guy (you should know to whom I am referring!) didn't think much of the the basic Academy kit anyway. Intakes and CFTs as well as nose gear are 'wrong' - not sure how much is noticible to those not intimate with the airframe. Also criticism over the loadout of a full load and tanks, however I can find pics of a Sufa in the Isradecal book with that loadout (at least fuel wise). I'd suspect that for a max fuel load (for max range....) they'd take off with not full internal tanks and then top up from a tanker to make sure they didn't go over the landing gears limit. For detailed breakdown of it I'd look over there over the next few weeks as the kits become available, but only if 'rivet counting' reviews don't phase you.
