KursadA
He was a 31-yr old recent assignee to the "Turkish Stars" aerobatics team; had 8 yrs of flight experience as an NF-5 instructor pilot and was preparing for his first performance in the team on March 18. He left behind a 17-days old baby boy. The particular aircraft was most likely a modernized NF-5A/2000. These are equipped with a state-of-the-art Martin Baker Mk.16 ejection seat similar to the one on JSF; and would almost certainly have saved his life if he had ejected. It looks like he did not have much time to react to whatever happened.

ya-gabor
Sorry to hear this. The Turkish Stars have been a permanent attraction at the Hungarian air shows at Kecskemet AB for the past almost 20 years. Not the best team but most certainly the most enthusiastic and excellent speakers with the team!!! RIP Best regards Gabor
