RockRiver
Hi, are there any 1/72 vehicles (preferably from the 50's and 60's) used for example by the USAF? Like pick-up trucks and the like. I think I rembember having read here somewhere about or from a company that will probably do some...but I can't find it any more... Anyone an idea or source for such vehicles? ingo ps: I already have the Hasegawa Chevy van.

afspret
Hasegawa had ground support kits with various figures, some ground support equipment & a Chevy Stepvan, but they were from the '80s time frame.
Andre
Academy makes a nice 2 1/2 ton truck, while Italeri's C-119C includes a Dodge truck. HTH, Andre Edited April 9, 2013 by Andre

A6BSTARM
Another place to look at is wargaming minis in the 25mm to 28mm scale they are about 1/72 to 1/76 scale and wouldn't be completely out of place in that situation. I have seen everything from police cars to Toyota looking trucks on gaming tables that when painted up. Along with looking at die-cast cars, most of whom are in the 1/72 or 1/72 scale as well. Finally look at model rail roading and any HO scale scenery kits that include autos because HO is also 1/72-76 scale.
