F-94B Line Drawings

Recommended Posts

Hey all,

I would like to one day scratch build a large scale model of a jet from my Dad's squadron from the Korean conflict. He was a radar and radio technician on F-94B's during the war. I know there are some 1/48 scale kits of it (not great ones but still...) but nothing in a larger scale (may go larger than 1/32)

So does anybody know of a source for accurate line drawings for f-94b's, preferably with cut-sections. I'd prefer to find free ones if possible of course but if there's something out there for a nominal fee I could live with that. I believe an "A" model would work as well since I don't think the general airframe changed until they added the rockets on the "C" model. Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks,

Bill

Thanks Laurent. I found those a while back as well but was a little unsure of accuracy since they were from a Russian source. Nothing against Russians, just wanted to have something to confirm them since it's a U.S. plane. Thanks again, I may end up using those.

ok, so my next question. As far as the airframe itself, what are the differences shape-wise between a T-33 and an F-94A/B? Obviously the nose shape is different in that it flattens out around the bottom and it looks like maybe the rear portion of the body bulges out slightly, I guess to accommodate a different engine. Are there any other major differences? Wings etc...I could settle for a 1/32 scale conversion of the existing T-33 kit.

Any help on this would be much appreciated.

Thanks,

Bill
