Trojan Thunder
Here is my entry This is an original issue Airfix C-130K/ Hercules C1. Got it to this stage after many battles with lifting paint and broken refueling probes and props. Then could not bring myself to decal it due to all the walkway decals (that are yellow/red) and making sure they were oriented correctly. Started this one in May 2013 and last touched it Jan 2014. And I will be finishing it with these decals Edited May 15, 2015 by Trojan Thunder

Trojan Thunder
Decalling is started, walkways on with some modification required to get around the base of the refueling boom. Also need to fix the broken off tip of the boom
Trojan Thunder
Decaling done, a few decals were sacrificed in getting it done :( Still need to finish up the props though. Now onto fixing a few missing bits and a final satin coat

Trojan Thunder
Almost there, decaling complete. Mounted the HF wires and one post decided it did not want to stay on the aircraft. Have reattached it and waiting for the glue to dry. Then I can apply the final clear coats and remove masking Edited June 8, 2015 by Trojan Thunder

Trojan Thunder
Finished! And it only took just over 2 years from when I started it! The clear parts didn't look the best when the masking came off (after 2 years), fixed it up best I could.
john53
That's cool! Like the camouflage. I finished my USCG C-130 with a set of decals donated from the Minicraft kit, also with the decals were Canadian decals, didn't realize the Minicraft kit also had a Canadian option. I like the refuel boom, looks like it's about to "joust".---John Edited June 21, 2015 by john53
CorsairMan
You don't see a ton of these done. Thanks so much for sharing. I love the inflight pose.
