hawkwrench
Wow, just jaw-dropping details. Between you and Oliver, I think I'll stop modeling. You 2 are just unbelievably talented modelers! Tim

I just finished one. Almost out of the box in RCN colours. Next to zero rebuilding, only the mesh engine guards and new paint. Even to get the kit plastic to join up was a challenge. Your build is so many times better then what I finished! Thanks! I bet your assembly was a lot of fun! I really liked this kit! Even "OOB", the assembly is fun! Post here the result of your kit ready! (I was curious to see the result).
ALEXANDRE REZENDE
Obrigado Oliver, C2j e Tim! Continua ... Edited September 15, 2017 by ALEXANDRE REZENDE Suicide's Photobucket
crlandrum
Really nice work! I am really enjoying your build. One issue I need to point point out. Given this is a SAR helicopter, the working underneath should read "Abandon" on one side and "Chute" on the other. It was a warning for the pilot on the ground to walk away from the parachute so it would not get tangled in the rescue hoist.

I did not know what was written and because of the few photos I had of the version, I thought it was the word "Randon" on both sides. As it was a construction that I did in 2008, it does not give more time to correct, however, I lived enough to know the correct information coming from you! Thanks again! ALEXANDRE REZENDE
Pintura ... Resultados do Rotor ... Dobrado ... Detalhes ... Para continuar (A parte final desta montagem!) ... Edited September 15, 2017 by ALEXANDRE REZENDE Suicide's Photobucket

ALEXANDRE REZENDE
Cubs2jets
Alexandre, What a beautiful effort on an old kit. Your upgrades bring this kit into the 21st century! I'm a little confused about one aspect of the build. Do you have two rotors - one extended and one folded? I would not be surprised if you actually incorporated hinges in the rotor head. You bringing new life into a classic kit warms my heart. Keep up the GREAT work! C2j

C2j Hello Cubs2jets, Yes, I've incorporated hinges into the rotors. One of them is fixed and the other two have simple hinges with 180º rotation. thanks for the comment. Hello Midnightprowler! I made mistakes in the decals (the "Randon" instead of "Abandon Chute"). But back then I did not have much information on the model. I apologize to everyone!
