quark51
I checking on Amazon for the Revell 1/144 AN-225 04598 and found another Revell AN-225 04597 and was wondering if Revell was releasing another version of this kit with the older markings?
mingwin
04958 seems to be the right kit number.,, sure, it would be cool to have a CCCP era An-225 boxing, i'd buy it... but i have my doubts...
Helmsman
Decals are available (http://pas-decals.com/index.php/product/view/50/985) but Buran bracing need to scratch built.
Dave Williams
The kit numbers are wrong. Revell 04597 is a 1/48 Me262. https://www.scalemates.com/kits/revell-04597-messerschmitt-me-262-a-1a--1023991 Revell 04598 is a 1/48 A-20 Havoc. https://www.scalemates.com/kits/revell-04598-a-20-g-j-havoc--139890 The only 1/144 An-225 kit is 04958. https://www.scalemates.com/kits/revell-04958-antonov-an-225-mrija--1119711
kotey
Zvezda will repack Revell An-225 model for Russian market in USSR era markings, also later this decal in silk screen technology will release as separate decals.
habu2
Y'alls dyslexic... Revell Germany announced two An-225 releases, #4957 and #4958. Price for the #4957 boxing was significantly less the #4958 price, so I assume it doesn't have all the parts for optional builds e.g. open nose and interior, but that's just a guess. Kit #4957 is listed as a Future Release (November 2019) on Hannants website. https://www.hannants.co.uk/product/RV4957
quark51
I have seen pictures of the sprues #4957 on Amazon and it looks the plane will be a stand kit with no landing gear and no open nose.
