KursadA
Has anyone seen this kit up close? Any comments would be welcome. https://www.ebay.com/itm/285798721233
Loach Driver
Haven't seen this but it sure looks nice! And the same vendor has a few other interesting models too, including a 1/72 EC120 and Airbis 160. LD.

Petroleum Helicopters is acquiring them for the Gulf of Mexico oil field market. Just need some PHI decals! Steve Sliger Greenwell Springs, LA

MoFo
Haven't seen it, but it's pretty sus. No overall pics of any of the listings that I can see, mostly just CAD models, some slicer previews or the occasional close-up of a print. That's a big red flag to me. From what I can see of the various files, I'd expect something along the lines of a desktop model: simple shapes, not a ton of detail, probably no usable clear parts. Bigger problem: all his files are (ahem) 'taken' from other sources, and his selling prints is explicitly against the license agreements on the various source sites. This is rampant in the world of 3D printing - there are a lot of sites where you can buy or download files (legitimately), and a lot of people will then try to sell them as physical prints (illegitimately). Most customers don't really care - they're just happy to have a thing - but it's not really kosher, and if the seller is looking to make a fast buck off someone else's work, I'd be pretty leery about how good the actual product will be. Which goes back to the first point. None of them were designed to be kits. They're CG assets, or CAD projects, or just flat out ripped out of game assets, so the breakdown is crude and the detail won't be what you'd expect on a model kit. Here is the Caracal file: https://3dwarehouse.sketchup.com/model/971a046c9e71f53d661b2e838d336947/Eurocopter-EC-725-Caracal and the original EC-130 file: https://embed-3dwarehouse-classic.sketchup.com/model/1b9f7ef7-afb3-47d7-8131-1db4ffd3e57b/helikopter The H160 is here: https://3dexport.com/3dmodel-airbus-helicopter-h160-printable-394939.htm and here: https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/game/airbus-helicopter-h160-printable (but I suspect those files themselves are ripped off from another source) And here's the weird SNCAO Kolka, for good measure: https://www.cgtrader.com/3d-models/aircraft/military-aircraft/sncao-aca-5-kolko
GeejeeZ
Thanks for the heads up MoFo. This looks too good to be true. The 160 and the 130 are not too expensive so I am tempted though... Some time ago I read on the BM forum that Air Graphic Models from UK were planning an 1/72 H-160 (and lateron an AW139!!!) but somehow I cannot find these back on the website. Considering the price of their 1/72 Squirrel/ AStar though, these kits would be priced way beyond what I would be willing to pay.
