siesta3
I finished the engine last night - unfortunately at this time only have a 1.3 pixel camera to show the progress. Other than buffing and weathering the outside of the nozzles and added heat streaks inside the them - moving onto the next challenge.

siesta3
The engine was completed in like a weekend...maybe 4 hours total ... not much in a hurry but my goal is to spend at least 15 minutes a day on the project.
siesta3
I don't know how far some of you CJ builders have gotten but heres my lastest progress - I indicated below the areas where I have found a big gap... the upper intake base and the back engine cover - has any one else gotten this problem? Unfortunately I had a slight problem..I had pushed down too hard on the intake base and snapped the beam in the middle of the intake so fixed that and now dealing with the gaps. jmel
. the upper intake base and the back engine cover - has any one else gotten this problem? I had the problem with the intake, and, sure enough, snapped my strut. Luckily, the OHANG uses some pretty cool intake covers, so I think I'll just use one to cover up the intake. It also saves me the hassle of trying to sand the inside of the intake duct! Jake

KursadA
The airplane looks great, but quite honestly pilot looks like he is on the brink of dying from serious malnutrition. Too bad, as he is quite a striking fellow with that canary-yellow hair. Where is the figure from?
siesta3
Thanks for the compliments... I was on the floor laughing as the pilot is a she ... and yeah I need to work on my figure painting skills. Hey I need to get with you on some decals.
