GEH737
Our hobby club is having a mini-contest using the Testors UFO. The idea is to make anything out of it. I've got a new Corvette and I thought I'd make a 100 year anniversary Sting Ray. Here's how it turned out.
GEH737
And with a custom name plate I made for it. There's a Florida "Challenger" license plate on the back - since we're in the Space Coast Hobby Club.
Alvis 3.1
Cool! Do the future StingRays still have fibreglass shells, or is it a more esoteric composit material? V8's still? Bullet shaped brake lights? And most importantly, can you hang a garter from the rear view mirror??? Alvis 3.
GEH737
It's a combination fiberglass/carbon composite, with a Deutronium powered 454 allowing you to make the "Kessel Run" in less than 4 parsecs. There's a single bullet tail light (for nostalgia purposes) and of course, the garter is always optional Edited March 30, 2005 by GEH737

madmike
not big on garters hanging off rear mirrors, here in Oz it would be the Ford Falcon with optional fluffy dice hanging from the rear mirror.... Lovely work though, the paintwork is lovely! MikeJ Edited April 19, 2005 by madmike
