Kingoalie
Just curious if anyone has heard anything on the German P-3 Orions. I'm so eager to start my Hasegawa P-3 and paint it up as a German bird but I have yet to see any pictures or hear anything about them Any news? John
Diego
Hi John, The German Orions will have the "new" scheme used by the Duch Navy Orions- some aircraft have been repainted in a light grey color before the decision was taken to sell the P-3 to Germany. As far as markings are concerned, Revell Germany will release the Hasegawa Orion with markings for Gemany Navy birds during 2006. Cheers Diego
Mad Viper
Hmm last thing i heard there were still training at Valkenburg AB. I'm hoping that news of the Revell orion isn't a hoax. I want to build one from the Dutch Navy.
Koen L
The official transfer ceremony should be on the 21st so I would expect some pics around that date. Koen
Kingoalie
Thanks for the replies guys. I suppose I'll just wait till the 21st to see if there any pictures, which isn't a big deal since I won't start the kit for awhile anyways. John
Koen L
Guess you can get it started up to the decalling process if you really want to since it will have the same scheme as the current dutch one. Koen
DonSS3
Try looking here: http://home.wxs.nl/~p3orion/ Marco Boorst runs a very good page, and keeps it up to date with the latest P-3 News. Not affiliated, just a P-3 ex-aircrewman and fan.
