Berkut
Well. I am currently working on MiG-31. I wanted to do something different soo I am going to show off radar of the beast. (this pic is taken 2 weeks ago or so, that means any glue or faults is fixed. I wanted also to detail little wheel bay. Not to much because of not much will be seen anyway. This picture is taken before wash.

Berkut
Those three. But i actully use only that one in middle.
janman
This is a Zvezda Foxhound, but a different boxing, Revell? The cockpit decals aren't bad looking at all. Good job, but be careful with the rivet detail and don't punch them with such a force. Some of them seem to be a bit too large for this scale. The extra detail in the gear wells look very good! Really looking forward for that rabbit-killing radar! Edited June 26, 2007 by janman

Yes, rivets is to big some places, at the nose for example. But those pictures was taken before i sanded them down a little. No, it was MiG-25 radar that could kill rabits. (i bet this one could do it to...)
janman
Yes, rivets is to big some places, at the nose for example. But those pictures was taken before i sanded them down a little. Ok! No, it was MiG-25 radar that could kill rabits. (i bet this one could do it to...) Yes, I was aware of that, but had a feeling that this radar was able to kill those long-eared friends of ours too. :) Different technology, so probably not. Go figure!

Sebastijan
I really hate to see sucg a good line of aircraft being ruined by an opened nose, unless it's part of diorama... planning something in this direction? anyway I will follow this thread with great interest - have 2 of 31s in my stash... Yeah, it ruins little bit of lines. But. I have made radar and nose that way that i can take on nose part if i want to., or take it of. When i want to. I think i am going to do this "diorama":
Berkut
By the way, what scale is your MiG-31 in? 1/72.
Ivan T.
Those three. But i actully use only that one in middle. Why don't you sand the tip of that tool? you can get better results, smaller rivets.... i.e. Ivan Edited June 27, 2007 by Ivan T.
Su-34
Ivan Ivan, that is an OUTSTANDING Su-24! :) Oh, please have a look at my PM :) PS. You seem to be missing that small antenna behind the cockpit, above the intake. Edited June 27, 2007 by Su-
Berkut
WOW! That is so nice Su-24.... :) :) Yeah, i will try to sand tip down.
Ivan T.
Ivan, that is an OUTSTANDING Su-24! Oh, please have a look at my PMPS. You seem to be missing that small antenna behind the cockpit, above the intake. yeap, I know, the sad part is that I don't know where it fell of.... And about your PM, the kit is Dragon's Su-24 Fencer D, re-scribed the complete model, neo-mega cockpit. It was first place in its category at last year regionals... I haven't took some good pictures to post at the critic corner, I hope to do it shortly WOW! That is so nice Su-24.... :Yeah, i will try to sand tip down. Ivan
ChernayaAkula
I'm with Sebastijan on the nose issue: spoils the lines! And the "BiG MiGs" are all about speed and power. And that just doesn't work with a blunt nose. But I guess it's okay for a diorama. Will you construct a radar, too? Or completely like in the pic? I'm also for more pics of Ivan's great Su-24! Su-34
Talk about ruining the lines of BiG MiG... I personally think it does ruin some lines on that beautiful beast, but i guess its ok if its going to be an diorama and you can put the nose back in place! <_< So Berkut, dio?
Berkut
Well, in the end it is my decision... :o I am dictator over myself... Jepp, dio.
ChernayaAkula
Well, of course it is your decission! It's your build! Do you intend to replicate the dio as in the photo? Complete with weapons on display and the nose on a dolly? Now that would be cool! Far too few dioramas around!
