  1. I like it! My thoughts were more along the lines of a stock V-22 with the weapons and sensors similar to an AC-130 gunship, but I like the sleek look of your escort ship a lot. Great job!
  2. Doesn't look bad all things considered. Certainly looks the part. While I was an Army tanker during the mid-90's they were flying real Hind's as OPFOR/Aggressors at the NTC out in lovely Fort Irwin CA (Mojave Desert).I'll never forget seeing it for the first time, as a tank crewman it is the kind of thing that sends shivers down your spine and it is unmistakable. Of course, the first time I saw it we had just climbed out of the turret after being killed by during the morning "battle". Just a mean looking bird. My what-if thoughts is an AV-22 Osprey spec ops Spooky type gunship. I was thinking a 30mm chain gun and a pair of 20mm gatlings. Not sure if the airframe would be sturdy enough for bigger weapons. I also have the Anigrand AH-56 Cheyenne and Sikorski S-67 kits which I wanted to do in operational markings. I was thinking as well of a naval Apache (it was proposed at one point in the 1980's I think).
  3. Apparently ARC is programmed to block any links to Zone Five. It will not link correctly no matter how you do it.
  4. My personal opinion is that there are bigger things in life to get worked up over, some cartoon rabbit created by a model manufacturer is not one of them. But whether on Z-5, here or any other forum people are free to get worked up over whatever they choose, and others are free to laugh at them for getting worked up over something so ridiculous if they so choose.
  5. Ingredients: 3 pounds rabbit meat, cleaned and cut into pieces 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/3 cup all-purpose flour 1/2 pound bacon, diced 1/2 cup finely chopped shallots 1 clove garlic, finely chopped 1 cup dry red wine 1 cup water 1 tablespoon chicken bouillon granules 1 tablespoon currant jelly 10 black peppercorns, crushed 1 bay leaf 1/4 teaspoon dried rosemary, crushed 2 teaspoons lemon juice 3 tablespoons water 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour 1/8 teaspoon dried thyme, crushed Directions: Place bacon in a large, deep skillet. Cook over medium high heat until evenly brown. Drain on paper towels and set aside. Sprinkle rabbit with salt and coat with 1/3 cup flour, shaking off excess. Brown rabbit in remaining bacon fat. Remove from skillet, along with all but 2 tablespoons of the fat, and reserve. Saute shallots and garlic in skillet for about 4 minutes, until tender. Stir in wine, 1 cup water and bouillon. Heat to boiling, then stir in jelly, peppercorns, bay leaf, and rosemary. Return rabbit and bacon to skillet. Heat to boiling, then reduce heat to low. Cover and let simmer about 1 1/2 hours or until rabbit is tender. Remove bay leaf and discard. Place rabbit on a warm platter and keep warm while preparing gravy. To Make Gravy: Stir lemon juice into skillet with cooking liquid. Combine 3 tablespoons water with 2 tablespoons flour and mix together; stir mixture into skillet over low heat. Finally, stir in thyme. Pour gravy over stew and serve, or pour into a gravy boat and serve on the side.
  6. Wait, was there something intelligent posted in this thread that I missed?
  7. The penguin on top of your television will now explode........
  8. Look it's another Jennings grenade toss thread........ Steve, can we get a grenade tossing smiley face?
  9. To be honest, this thread is actually kind of entertaining. I'm having fun with the Monty Python references alone, no to mention an appearance by Mr. Fry and Rowan Atkinson.
  10. I warned you! But did you listen to me? Oh, no, you knew it all, didn't you? Oh, it's just a harmless little bunny, isn't it? Well, it's always the same......
  11. OH MY GOD!!!!!Women and their bodies being used by an Eastern European sweatshop and forced to pose with model airplane boxes as a marketing tool! The travesty! How revolting! Now I am completely offended.
  12. Blame the bunny rabbit, the little bastard is behind all of this......
  13. Ditto. It would appear that some people just go through life looking for things to be offended about...... It's just a harmless little bunny rabbit.
