  1. Many thanks gents for your replies. The colour is indeed much lighter than Insignia Blue, I have seen it described as a Douglas Blue but have not seen a model paint match for it. I have Xtracolor True Blue (as used on NASA cheatlines?) and it 'appears' to be a close match but maybe a little light. This is for a 1/72nd scale build. Steve.
  2. Hi, Does anyone here know the correct blue for the cheatline/cockpit roof area of the white/blue/light grey colour scheme formerly used on the KC 10, could it be True Blue FS 15102 ?? Steve.
  3. Hi, Could it be HPH Models? http://www.hannants.co.uk/product/HPH72012L Steve.
  4. Hi, 53rd WRS WB50D 9304 is (or was) available on Xtradecal sheet X032-72 produced by Hannants in the UK and includes the tail band. The sheet was custom printed by Microscale. Steve.
  5. There's also the Sanger vacform Mi 10 if you can get it, but I think it is out of production. Steve.
  6. Many thanks for your replies, Steve.
  7. Research for build of Italeri C 27J Spartan (Italian Air Force). Could anyone recommend a model paint equivalent for the light gray exterior colour quoted in the instructions as FS36280? I have tried a number of sources to no avail. Many thanks, Steve.
  8. Hi Fouga, I have used Max decals for Irish Air Corps models for a anumber of years. The decals are very thin so I coat the decal with Microscale Liquid Decal Film and leave to dry overnight. Ideally finish the model in gloss paint or coat with Klear (if you can get some). Then use fairly warm water to slide the decal from the backing paper. Very important, be as accurate as possible when placing the decal on the model as it can break up with too much movement. I then use Micro Sol when it is in the correct position, don't be alarmed if the decal wrinkles or shrivells up, it will settle down a
  9. I got a set of the 1/72nd VM decals from Fantasy Print Shop last year, still currently listed on the site but out of stock. http://www.fantasyprintshop.co.uk/V-M-Decals_B216LL.aspx Steve.
  10. This might be of interest, http://cgi.ebay.com/USairfix-Fat-Albert-C-...=item4cec682b88 Steve.
  11. Pardon my ignorance but what scale??
  12. Looks very similar to the hard to get Aeropoxy kit?
  13. Interested, but link does not work for me and unable to find by searching.
