  1. I have both, and for me the windows of cockpit seems too large on Minicraft kit. The Revell seems to me very good, but the cockpit clear part is a joke...
  2. Yes, very soon! I will rebuild the sheet once I have more versions to include, but all those are high vis. I am trying to get more low vis options but the crew names are always a problem...
  3. All artworks that I have for VF-114 will be available at once in my 1/144 sheet: For 1/72 and 1/48 I will prepare the same versions, two or three per sheet. However I believe that the 70's Vark will take all available space in the sheet, if I provide all orange details. Some friends here asked me to include the black tailed Vark as this image: However I can not confirm its BuNo matching the modex untill now... Other problems are the lack of confirmation about the mother carrier and the year.
  4. Thanks Jim, helped a lot! As I can see in the image, the Almark versions have the same modex and the NH102 have the same BuNo. But both aircraft were from 1988, the NH101 is completely different, all with other crews. As I said, just a mere coincidence. :) But those are interesting subjects! If I already have this info before, I could add those versions for my 1/144 sheet.
  5. Now I am curious too... Could you give the refference of this Almark decal ( I just knew WW1 decals from Almark)? I would like to know if those Varks 101 and 102 there are indeed the same of mine, from 84 and 90.
  6. I selected and prepared these versions upon photos I got from Mr. Henkvan der Lugt who friendly have supporting me with this Tomcat series. I did not know thatr Almark have a VF-114 decal, but if Almark have the same aircrafts on a decal, it is a mere coincidence. Perhaps the good photo refferences are from the same few aircrafts. It is very difficult to get photos of a same aircraft matching crew names and BuNos. This is just the first 1/48 set. All those versions in FCM 144-033 Varks decal, already under printing, will be released in 1/48 scale. Are all those on Almark decal too?
  7. This is the next release FCM 48-039 for two low vis Varks. The decal offers two complete basic markings and one full stencils set.
  8. Yeah, all Hornets family, Intruder, Prowler, Crusader, etc... But I am sad because I do not have so good refferences for those others like I have for Tomcats. My great deal are the crew names...
  9. I already made a decal set for VF-33 some years ago (FCM 144-029), but it was missing the crew names and was before I start the printing with MicroScale. I will rebuild that decal asap. :( Do you know my previous release? The set FCM 144-032 Sundowners:
  10. I just finished today the artwork for this 1/144 decal and two pages of the instruction plan, so here are these for your appreciation: All those versions I will release in 1/72 and 1/48 scale too, probably in two sheets for each scale. Meanwhile I will be launching in 1/48 one set for VF-301 Devil' s Disciples, which must be ready for the way of September
  11. A very interesting and totally new release would be a Mirage F1 for 1/32 scale too
  12. If the focus would be the japanese market: A Mitsubishi F-2 will be the target, but not so interesting outside. If the worldwide market will be interesting: A Mirage III/V/50 will be a good shot. (It seems Trumpeter 1/32 Mirage will be the 2000). I feel that all best sellers was already produced, the kit makers are matching the point that they will need to dare to leave the boring point...
  13. Looking the photos in those reviews, I feel the scribed lines very coarse and irregular. Does the Dragon kit is better at this point?
  14. I have all these three Revell's kits, the Black Bunny and Jolly Rogers are exactly the same kit, one in black and the other in gray, the difference between those is only the box and the decal. indeed the Jolly Rogers decals is somewhat better than the Black Bunny, but I am not sure that it is enough to justify the difference in prices... The F-14D Green Reapers is the same airframe but it has a sprue with the double sensor for the nose, new exausts for D version instead the older exausts for F-14A and an extra pair of Phoenix. However the fuselage is exactly the same of the others, and it d

    1/48 TRACKER

Oh yes! Once the version is defined, I can prepare the artwork in advance to get the decal ready at same time of the kit. For latin-american subjects it is easy, just for US versions I still have the same problem I have with Tomcats: crew names...

    1/48 TRACKER

Mr. Raymond confirmed by PM that the rendering is the basic model, the first release will be a S-2E/G, and the APA-69 dome is a part for the S-2A the possible forthcoming in the series.
  17. All 1/48 scale: Mirage III/V/50 family P2V-5/7 Neptune Sea Harrier /AV-8A / Harrier Mk.III A correct A-7A Corsair II (Hobby Boss kit has errors that are impossible to fix) Martin AM-1 Mauler

    1/48 TRACKER

I am talking with Raymond about it, and for me his project is a S-2E/G Tracker considering the details on this 3D render. The unique mistake is that AN/APA-69 radome on the top of cockpit, a detail for S-2A. All other details are for the longer fuselage Tracker.

    1/48 TRACKER

Fantastic!!! I just need to know what version the kit will make to start the artwork for decals, perhaps upscale what I have in 1/72 if it will be a S-2A ! But I would wish a S-2E (more decal options to make).
  20. There is any idea about the year when that black tail was used? If the Aardvark 110 was not the 161603, I can try to get the correct BuNo if I get the correct year.
  21. Of course! My main scale is 1/48!
  22. I had no idea of a black tailed Aardvark! After your information I found a photo of one, modex 110, in aviationslides.com, if that is the BuNo 161603, I can prepare the decal. It seems that there was no crew names on canopy frames, is it correct? The carrier was A. Lincoln? I prepared a profile upon the photo that I found and here is that: That is the same plane you are talking about?
  23. The decal is still under construction, I believe to finish the artwork next week. I am including as decal the orange tips for fins, wings and elevators on 70's version. For 1/144 I fell that as important details, but what about those for larger scales? Would that be necessary for 1/72 and 1/48 scales too? Those four ones will complete this set:
  24. I have finished the artwork for this new 1/144 decal set for Aardvarks Tomcats. This is the front page showing half of available versions, there are more four ones, including three low vis. This decal will go to printers next week, and further in othes scales too.
  25. Some time ago we saw some photos of test shots of the new 1/48 Tomcats by HobbyBoss, and because those photos, thew was very criticized due the crazy rivets placed where they did not exist. Perhaps the release of these kits was postponed to correct this ****** that they had made? The Tomcats have been announced before the F-111 and the Tornado, and these already had been released...
