Thanks Neo. I'm using metal gear so I'm not really worried about the weight just as long as it don't sit on it's tail.

Ok so I got a little more done. I finished the cockpit. I didn't used all the PE since it can't be seen. Nose weights added. I used .30-06 shells cut down and packed with lead shot. I have the forward fuselage glued together and have started to paint the wings and stabs. I'll post more pics later.

I will say that Into the sun is the worst movie ever. It sucks so hard it almost makes Iron Eagle look good.

Now that it's getting into summer you can try putting the model in the car. I do that from time to time or you can put one of those oil filled heaters in the bathroom crank it up and instant cure box.

I have a couple questions I'm hoping you guys can answer for me. First how far are the rear cabin lights and intercom controls recessed into the ceiling? Second does anybody have photos of the map case at the end of the center console? I'm working on the Dragon kit with the Cobra Co correction set and the instructions don't show how it goes. I've looked every where and can't find photos of the case or controls.

Are Air Force pilots allowed to wear flight caps on the flight line? I mean walking out to the jet for pre flight. I thought I read somewhere that hats are not to be worn on the FL.

I went online last night to Sprue Brothers just needing 4 bottles of paint. Nothing major right? Well 62 bucks later I checked out. Wow after reading some of the replies about the schools in this country I guess my kids are lucky. Their school is either you can do the work and you pass or you can't and you fail and do it again next year. They don't just thow them in the pool and see if they sink. The school goes out of it's way to help every child pass but if they don't have the grades at the end of the year they get held back and Mommy and Daddy can't do anything to stop it. I've gotten the forward two weapons bays and the main landing gear well glued in. Some of the PE in the aft bay popped off and the carpet monster has hidden it. If I can't find the PE I think I'm just going to close the aft doors and leave the fuel tank out. With any luck I should have the center section together this weekend.

I have them and it seems they need to be put on heavy. As in you need to really load up the foam tip. The brush only really works to feather it out once it's on the model. At least that's how it's worked for me so far. But they do look great once on the model.

I know the B-1B is painted with FS 34086 Green Drab on the upper surfaces. I also know that it fades quickly to a brownish color. So my question is does anybody know a close FS match to the brownish color?

Has anybody tried to build Revells 106 with the gear up? I have one and was thinking about building it for my nephews room with the gear up. I was just wondering if it was easy to do or if it's a royal PITA?

You could remove the trim strip paint it in a flat black with primer colored flames. Then have the wheels, bumpers and any thing else shiney done in a brushed finish. I did something like that on a model hot rod years ago and it looked pretty cool.
