Really nice build. Great to see a more unusual subject!!!

This kit is now one of Academy's older productions (early 1990's) but my recollection of building it in the late 1990's was that it turned out fairly reasonable. OK, not as accurate or as much of a joy to build as the more expensive Tamiya kit that followed several years later but it will give you the basis for a fairly decent P-51D 'Stang'. Hi folks! I have a couple of Italeri 1/48 A-10s lined up to do in Euro 1 camo - love these Cold War era jets!!! I just have to do an aircraft from the 23rd Tactical Fighter Wing with the amazing sharks teeth markings. Unfortunately, the sharks teeth option in the Italeri kit are incorrect as they do not wrap around the front of the nose and was wondering whether anyone out there may have a spare set kicking about either from the recent Hobbyboss kit or one of the releases from Superscale or Two Bobs. I'm totally in agreement with what you guys are saying! Apparently the priority is combating terrorism but we have the security services for that task. I'm furious at the decision that have been taken No Harriers and few carriers - Despite having some limitations, upgrades to the Harrier GR7/9 now coming on-stream would have made it a more capable ground attack platform. Ark Royal was only launched in 1985 and having gone through several refits is certainly far from being past its sell by date! Hi Jettdude This is a fantastic build! Must be the best i've seen!!! I'm currently working on an F-5E in the Old Lizard scheme but doubt it wll end up as good as your build. Can i ask a couple of questions? I'm new to using ModelMaster enamels that have just become available in the UK. What do you thin your paints with and what ration of paint to thinner do you use?
