  1. You mean when you posted here slamming Bob Sanchez? What a pathetic, lying lap dog you are. Your worst nightmare, somebody who has had enough of idiots like you bad mouthing ARC, it's owner, and posters over at the circle jerk, but then showing up here and acting as if all is well. Here's a clue for your feeble brain, people actually can go to more than one website and read what morons like you have to say and hold you accountable for it. Cheers, Hugh
  2. The decal sheet that we were discussing that was posted in the very first post in this thread? The one ABD sycophants like you (amazing how somebody who has a poor command of english latches onto abbreviations like ABD) are here on ARC willing to post ad nauseum about a sheet they have never seen? And there we have it, you admit we must buy a flawed sheet plus another. It's been extremely productive. A clip in the hand is worth a circle jerk elsewhere. You can now run back and get your pat on the head for being a pathetic, willing lapdog. Cheers, Hugh
  3. Somebody who values correct spelling? Yes, you are correct. Cheers, Hugh
  4. Funny, I thought that was exactly what we were doing; discussing the accuracy of a sheet. Evidently you're actually against discussing the accuracy of a decal sheet, and want us to just shut up and buy it. I was wrong, you now want us to buy two decal sheets, because the first is incomplete/inaccurate. This is truly ironic. Cheers, Hugh
  5. Here's an option, perhaps they could have either not released the sheet or they could have "got it right the first time." Trumpeter and other manufacturers get murdered for releasing half-baked, incompletely researched items, and by the admission of somebody that took part in producing this sheet, that's exactly what this is. Can't get pictures of the Fairley Fruitbat's ejection seat? Well, we'll just leave it out of the kit entirely. That's not inaccurate, that's just incomplete. Says the ex-jackal who is here proxy-pimping a sheet from a manufacturer who has openly posted on the inter
  6. No it can be partially completed to partially represent what the real aircraft looked like. A truly accurate model is supposed to be a "snapshot" of the real thing at a particular moment in time; if the markings are not complete, then they are inaccurate. I would also add that if markings are left out of an aftermarket sheet, why exactly am I paying good money for it? Microscale used to do that (say buy another sheet for the stencils or national markings) and were roundly criticized for it. Cheers, Hugh
  7. So they could leave out the Bort numbers and national insignia, and it would just be incomplete. It's a slippery slope, especially for a manufacturer that has often prided itself on completeness and accuracy. Cheers, Hugh
  8. There is no "what if". Jennings has said here that they excluded stencils on this sheet because they could not get complete accuracy on them. I understand what Afterburner has done, they made a business decision to maximize the number of subjects on a sheet and go to print at the expense of accuracy. They have bills to pay, and those are the compromises that sometimes need to be made in a business. Cheers, Hugh
  9. Not missing the point at all. The sheet lacks stencils; those are rather prominent markings on a jet as small as the MiG-21, especially so for NMF and gray aircraft. Jennings has always trumpeted Cartograf (presumably the printer of this sheet) for their ability to print stencils markings, now on a sheet which lacks those entirely, it's suddenly no big deal. Scott Brown has posted that if he couldn't get accurate info on a subject he wouldn't do it. What's changed? Cheers, Hugh
  10. Aren't you the individual who is always telling us how wonderful and superior Cartograf is because their stencils are readable in 1/350 scale? Cheers, Hugh
  11. Mark, That is a very interesting selection of subjects, and I believe this is the first time the Mogadishu helos have been done in 1/72 scale. Cheers, Hugh
  12. Too much information. Cheers, Hugh
  13. I prefer Eunice Wentworth Howell . Cheers, Hugh
  14. This is an excellent idea. I've been to quite a few conventions and the aviators I talked to always wore squadron t-shirts too. If a decal manufacturer did markings for that also, I would be up for at least three or four sheets. Cheers, Hugh
  15. But the general conception that U.S. products are crap, especially ones used by the U.S. military, seems to be an acceptable one. Oh the irony. Cheers, Hugh
