That Nats have started, most of the vendors are set up except just for a few and everything seems to be going good, so far. from my perspective at the bar! LOL.. ive met some wonderful people so far, very freindly and outgoing. so far ive managed to spend $230.78, not bad for a first day!! LOL.. the pic i posted on here a couple days ago of me saying, be looking for this face, one guy came up and said, " hey, its that face" ! and for the life of me know i cant remember his name, cause ive met so many people so far.

what a nightmare its going to be for the vendors. i saw the vendor unloading area. thanks to the construction thats going on, they have to park about 1,000 feet from the loading area, wind through a bunch of construction crap then go through these two little glass doors. Then once inside the building its a good haul to the room. Glad im not a vendor at this one! LOL

i ll head over there Floyd, probably too late saying this here now, but ill be wearing a B-17 flying fortress hat, and shorts.. if i make from here. LOL

im here at the Drury Inn for tuesday and wednesday. if anyones here early, u can stop by my room and maybe we can put some plans together to do something with other people if any of you are staying here. im in room 838.. smoking section. LOL...

Hey all. These first two days im here the Drury inn, which is right next door to the convention center, just a stones throw away. They charge 12 bucks to park, but you can come and go as many times as you wish, its not valet parking. you use ur room key to acess the garage and stuff. its a pretty good place, nice and clean rooms. Tuesday and wednesday ill be here, then thursday and friday ill be at the Hyatt.

I'm heading up to Columbus from Mississippi here. I believe in an early start! LOL .. see you all there!

seems like that second location is the simplest and easiest way.. at least thats the way id go if I were a vendor. LOL

theirs like a PDF map of the hyatt and parking, and it shows theloading docks... now, if thats where the vendors unload im not sure

since were getting so close now to that BIG day. Do we yet have a clue as to where we can all meet? Or maybe for those of us bringing our laptops, maybe someone can post the info here, or say for example,if someones possibly "hosting" some kind of "bash" in their room, maybe they can all let us know their room number on here? does that sound feasible?

what can i do to achieve different shades of Olive drab? if im using the same color olive drab.

when i clean my airbrush, i sometimes use both, laquer and mineral spirits. Most of the time just laquer though

is it possible to make your own airbrush cleaner station. Like getting a plastic jug of sorts, cutting a whole in it, sticking said airbrush in hole and blowing it out in their?, then when its full, just dump it out. Cause i seen at Wally world some Rubbermade jugs I thought might work. Anyone do something like this before?

I tried saving an oil wash i made up sometime ago. Didnt use it again for quite a while, and when i went to use it, the paint had all hardened on the bottom hard as a rock ! LOL.... but as mentioned, it was quite a while, maybe even 8 months or so.

Great food! the best fried chicken ive ever had, albeit, i had the scallops which were excellent . wife had the chicken buffet. Prices at The Lady and Sons were very very reasonable too.

As my post below stated, id never stay in another hotel that charges an arm and a leg for parking when your their guest.. Well, for my wifes birthday, I took her down to Savannah Ga. (about a 10 hour drive), she wanted to eat in Paula Deens restaurant. Well, we stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn, and what do you know, they charge a whopping $25 bucks a day for parking !! So I just gave up, I bit the bullet and I got a room at the Convention Hotel ! LOL.. So thats where I be staying guys !! Most likely the very top floor since i smoke and requested a smoking room. LOL cya all there

ive dipped my canopy in future, let it dry, but im not happy with the results, theres like bubbles in it. How do i remove the future now?
