  1. So, it isn´t exactly the same as AK-Interactive and AMMO wich are water based acrylics, is it?. I must buy the specific thinner then?
  2. Thank you very much for your reply. Maybe I ´ll give them a try. I´m using now AMMO and AK-Interactive acrylic paints wich are wonderful, so if Aqueous Hobby Color are similar to them, I´ll give them a try.
  3. Dear fellow modelers: I have the following question, hope someone can help me. I know that there are basically 3 types of modeling paints, enamels, acrilic lacquers and acrylics. Humbrol are enamels ones, Tamiya are lacquer-acrylic, and AMMO and AK-Interactive are %100 acrylics (water based, water.soluble. Here`s the question, are the brand Aqueous Hobby Color %100 acrylics like AMMO and AK-Interactive, or are they like Tamiya ones, lacquers water based?. Thank you in advance.
  4. Dear Otto, you have fallen to the dark side of the plastic wotld...LoL....I´ve told you that your option was the Trumpy kit, glad you didn´t use the 1911 after all.... Best regards and happy modeling!
  5. Yesssssss, a brand new Hawker Sea Fury!, I´ll buy some of them!!!! GRaet news from Airfix....keep on going in this direction!
  6. I have the same kit, the black bunny one from RoG, and in fact, you have there the NACA style gun vent an another one with I don´t know if it is right, as it isn´t the NACA vent, neither thew early one with louvers, so, why is there?, any clues?. Best regards to all, Juan
  7. Mine are O.K.. Write to Kinetic, take some pics and explain your problem. I think they´ll send new replacements parts. But you need to take phgotos. Best regards, Juan
  8. Well, I was considering to buy the KP/Smer kits, they´re cheap, at least and I think relativily accurate. What´s your opinion on them?
  9. I don´t feel very excited at KH kits, after watching their job at the Super Etendard, I kept my Kinetic one instead. I don´t like "mecano" type kits, IMHO Kinetic is easier to build...so, I´ll check between the two HB and KH wich pose less fuse to build... Just my two cents..
  10. Thank you very much to all, you have helped me a lot. Best wishes for all of you..
  11. Thank you both, guys. In fact I have one Great Wall Hobbies and I´m planning to purchase a second, a 9-13, but, as ggod as they are, they´re expensive...I already have 2 Academy´s ones, wich are far cheaper, and a lot of aftermarket decals. So, burner cans Eduard for sure....let´s see those nose cones now....
  12. Dear fellow modelers from all around the world, which one wuld you consider "the" nose to fit to the Academy 1/48 scale MiG-29 Fulcrum 9-12....Quickboost?, Karaya?...any other?. Wich afterburner cones go better, aires or Eduard´s ones?. Best regards, Juan
  13. Hi Mingwin. You´re right, it doesn´t count as it is and old pic, since then, no other update about the kit´s progress. I am still waiting and anxious to get AMK´s SUE, but no sun on the horizon yet. BTW, the nick is dagger00...with two g´s.......(funny thing, remember me Goose quote on Top Gun movie..."two o´s"). :salute:/>
  14. Well, in my humble opinion, it would be a waste of economical resouces to have some guys gathering data for more than a year, CAD´s and so on, to finally give up on one determined subject just because.....your marketing investigation or plans went wrong????, seriously?....after a year?. AMK made a lot of announcements, and as far as I know, no pics, no drawing, no cads of their brand new F-14D, neither the "old" SUE project. Conversely, other companies, made less announces and throw more kits to the market in a more "stealthy" way, for example Tamiya´s F-14, ICM´s MiG-25 and so on. In my opin
  15. So, after all the announcement and money invested, no new Super Etendard at all?......
  16. Dear Otto , maybe because perfection does not exist in kit form in any brand?. In Spanish we have a saying...Lo perfecto es enemigo de lo bueno...perfection is the enemy of right.. Sorry for my English, I speak Spanish as first language. LoL...
  17. Dear Steve: May you be so kind, please, to tell me if the bomb´s doors can be built in the closed position?, also the wing bomb doors too?. Thanks
  18. LoL, you made my laugh a lot...the Colt would be perfect....now, seriously (sorry for my English), Trumpy has issues too, it depends wich one would you prefer besides its glitches... :salute:/>
  19. Dear Otto: I think you should chose a good weapon....Trumpeter, in fact, Tamiya one have some issues, if I do recall properly, around the canopy shape and the rear fuselage. Trupy have issues too, but you have a more detailed gun compratment and cannon....your choice.....Besides, Tamiya could be a more easy build, while Trumpy......... :D/>
  20. Thanks for the hands up. Any boxing of Cyberhhoby would be O.K.?. Best regards, Juan
  21. Hi Bruce: Thank you very much for your help. And yes, I´m looking one to be built as an argentine naval aviation SH-3...I forgot to mention taht. Best regards again, Juan

  23. Hello RCAFFAN, thanks for the help!, well it will be definetely a Sikorsky one, I´m planning to build one f our Naval Aviation, as far as I know, we has SH-3D, Augusta built SH-3D and later we bought 3 UH-3H with large sponsons, so I think the Fujimi one will work, problem is where to find one f those!. Thanks a lot for you reply and help!. I debt you one. Best regards, Juan
