Well, if you could go 1/72 instead, then there is the excellent Fulton-Set for a HC-130 or the MC-130E. http://www.djparkins.com/acatalog/1_72nd_Post_War_USAF_NATO_Russian.html I used the MC-130E set some while ago and was very satisfied with the contact to Mr. Parkins and of course with the quality of the material. What about "just" vacu-forming the hull? HAJO

Austin, exactly! ;) I didn´t used any Preiser figures on the MH-60, but I used them on my MH-6: If I remember correctly it´s these sets I used: http://www.plasticsoldierreview.com/Review.aspx?id=930 http://www.plasticsoldierreview.com/Review.aspx?id=780 HAJO

Hi Daan, thanks for the nice words! :) I used the US Modern Army of Revell, Modern US Army of Esci and some US Special Forces Vietnam of Esci. But I wouldn´t use them again and turn to Preiser-figures instead. They are of hard plastic and therefor better to mold and handle. You know www.plasticsoldierreview.com? HAJO

Could you give us some details about the used figures? They look quit egood, I think some are of Revells US Airbourne-set? HAJO

Your link is redirecting me to the start page of postimage.org. Are you able to post the pictures directly? Would look something like this when writing the post: [ img] www.postimage.org/username/albumnameorelse/pictureidentity=name.org [/img ] (without the spaces between the link-adress and the ] [ ). General question regarding 1/72 scale Blackhawk kits.
Hajo L. replied to Cezar's topic in Helicopter Modeling
As for the NAVY-versions (HH-60H and SH-60) I´d say Hobbyboss. There are several reviews available on the net. As for the Blackhawk... Italeri/Revell is the best choice, although there is much room for improvement. HAJO -
Awesome! Could you give us some insight about the original aircraft? It looks pretty cool with the camo and the shark mouth! HAJO

Does anyone have some pictures or a good link that shows the italian navy (Marina) AB.212 with the Marte anti-ship-missile? I know there is the MK1 version as well as the MK2 version - any pictures are good for me! Thanks! HAJO

Looking excellent! HAJO

1/700 Helicopters - Challenged to Paint and Decal
Hajo L. replied to VXE-6 Helo's topic in Helicopter Modeling
Oh yes, painting and decaling at that scale is possible and can lead to great results: My 1/700 "Theodore Roosevelt" HAJO -
Hope you like the finished model! I enjoyed the model very much and the canopy is one of the clearest pieces I´ve ever seen... HAJO

Hmm, do we have to be afraid if Anthony comes to a certain location? Maybe the earthquakes are travelling with him! Just kidding, hope everyone is ok... HAJ

It´s a girl... You get a bit annoyed if you have her around the whole day, because she starts talking when she wakes up, makes a short pause during her sleep after lunch and then the blablabla goes on until she goes to bed in the evening. But it´s still cute! ;) HAJO

You are right, that is a wire strike, but it´s molded to the strut and therefor not an individual part. Made the ultimative test just some hours ago: Looks like my daughter is really smart (like her parents ;) ), the camoflage couldn´t fool her, she identified the object loud and clear as "huuschaubaaa" (=helicopter). ;) HAJO

Welcome to some strange zoological stuff! This is the 1/72 Revell kit of the Tiger UHT, already my third one (or fourth, if I´d count the old and not proper molding of the first prototype that appeared about 20 years ago). The new kit shown here is a pleasure to build. The idea came to my mind when I stumbled across the pictures of a german prototype Bo-105 in a giraffe-scheme that was used for testing a mast-mounted sight, somewhen in the early eighties. It made "click" because my little, 1,5 year old daughter's most loved animal is the giraffe, or "gieackie", as she pronounces it.... :D

I´m planning to do the version in Urugay Air Force markings. HAJO

Thanks a lot, the picture is very helpful! HAJO

Thanks a lot! According to this picture... (Source: http://www.freewebs.com/militargaviones/ia58pucara.htm) ...the Pucara carried MERs. Were they carried at the centerline? HAJO

Can someone provide me with a couple of pictures of armed Pucaras? I just bough the Airfix kit and would like to see some pics to get an idea what to hang on the wings and what not. Thanks! HAJO

Please send me your mail-adress via PM, I now have JPGs of the instruction sheet. HAJO

Arkhunter, PE-weapons? Does that look good? I´d be afraid they would be too much 2D... HAJO

www.plasticsoldierreview.com will be an excellent source to start looking for a nice set of figures. HAJO

Sorry, I owe you an update and pictures of the just finished model. Here is the latest picture while still in progress: The chin-turret is from a Matchbox Cobra, the minigun will be coming from an Italeri HH-53-kit. And the finished model, I had to change the aft gear position, it´s sitting more aft than at the usual SH-2F. And some details: HAJO

That´s indeed a piece of sprue, it´s the part that usually works a pin mountle for the MG. I kept it to use it as "mount" in the door as well. I made a short barreled M60 with forward grip once as armament for my SEAL-team: http://www.modellversium.de/galerie/14-sch...t-eigenbau.html I´d love to post some better pictures of the boat, but it´s at my parents place. Otherwise I´d be able to show you that the M60 used in the HH-2 still is a bit longer than a "Shorty M60". HAJO
