  1. before you convert anything. What model are you making? The aircraft will dictate what pod you use. For instance an F-111 will only ever have used the shallow pod, along with most of the UASFE based planes.
  2. Yes it is, it says it is too. The difference could be filled away, and the detail re-added. The pod is well photographed and details are clear Get THIS PDF file to see the difference You can convert a Deep into a shallow pod. I did it when I made the 493rd TFS F-111F's a few years back. It was 1/72 but the job would be easier on 1/32 because its bigger.
  3. Alternativly Look HERE and see what it looks like built up
  4. Of course its in english, by curtesy of your friendly local babe she is here Simply paste the url [the address] into the lower box is she will convert it for you free of charge
  5. I have heard about this in the "press", it always was a model I wanted to build after I saw it at RAF Cosford a few years ago. At the time my heart was [and still is] with the F-111 so I never made the Vacuform kit. I have got an order placed, and probably never will unless it comes up on ebay in a few years time. It wouldnt surprise me if the kit really will be limited run, you only have to look at others to see that they do do it, look at the AMT XB-70. One box said it was a limited run with a nice name place, the other box made no illusion to being limited yet both are hard to find. Ye

  7. LOL Ok Ill try and dig out the sales picture... She was the basis of a 4 hour google search on quite night! So I know I got a full shot of her somewhere.
  8. Does anybody know where I can lay my hands of a set of decals for the AMT KC-135R for the SAC light grey scheme [like the KC-135A]... Im looking to build the cream of SACs forces, I have googled a picture of it in those colours but it was a little grainy.
  9. Also has anybody got any news on the AMTech release?
  10. Hi Scooby and thank you for the reply :) The most interesting part for me was "The latter was fixed using a technique suggested by Haydn Hughes of the USAF SIG. He recommended that I glue the wings together, cut three slots using a razor saw at 50mm intervals along the top of the wings, and insert 0.75mm styrene into the slots to spread them and induce the right droop, then fill the gaps with Cyno and Accelerator, sand, finish and you’re done." He doesnt say where to make the cuts nor how long to make them :( I do hope that Flighpath make one of their classic photo etched sets for this,
  11. I would love to see a 1/48 B-52H Would go well with the Revell/Monogram B-1B and the Academy FB-111A I think
  12. Hi all, this board seems as good a place as any to get some advice and assistance. I used to build models about 5 or probably 6 years ago, but with one thing and another I drifted away from it but now im back I am currently working on an Italeri MH-47E, thats going well considering im 5years rusty, but thats not what my questions are about. My questions are about the now old AMT kits, most notably the B-52x and the xC-135x kits. I remember as a lad building a couple and then later on bought some more with the intentions of building them too, but over time as I said I stopped modelling, so
