  1. Thanks for the offer, Aaron! I checked that set on scalemates and that's a really nice looking set. And sounds like you assess them as having high quality?
  2. Thanks. I added myself to the waiting list. I don't know how often Bullseye reprints their decals....
  3. Thanks everyone! Thanks very much! Now I just need to find some desert storm decals....
  4. Is this kit suitable out of the box for a Desert Storm F-15C? Or is there a definitive list of changes needed to make it so? I'm interested in doing an F-15 in the USAF and in doing one in Saudi service, fwiw. Thanks, Phil
  5. Excellent. Thanks for point that out. I completely missed it, but I guess that is obvious....
  6. @viperbite- thanks for sharing the sprue photos. Can you tell us what ordnance is included in the A-10A kit?
  7. Yes, be patient. I placed an order just before the announcement was public, waited for about 3 weeks and there they were. I'm sad his other commitments mean the end of this business for him. Hopefully he'll allow someone else to sell the work he's already designed, and I *really* hope he gets back to the artistic part of creating new subjects. I will miss his work.
  8. Yeah, I was hoping you'd solved that problem.... The best pics I've found are pics of resin cockpits who have filled out all the cool detail there. I'd rather have good photos of the real thing.
  9. Did you ever get usable info for this? I don't plan on 3d printing anything but am wondering about scratching the most conspicuous parts.
  10. If this has already been answered, please forgive. I read through the thread and didn't see it, but I'm not sure I didn't miss it. I'd like to build the Meng G as one of the George-based planes in Desert Storm. The Reid air decal sheet says these often carried the AN/ALQ-184. One it not in the kit, but I have one in a Tamiya F-16 kit. Has anyone reused this and were there any issues? Or, should I plan to get an aftermarket one, and if so, any recommendations and, again, were there any issues? Thanks, Phil
  11. I'm looking at this picture of a phantom with LAU-10s: https://www.airhistory.net/photo/635531/151458/1458 and this picture of the Eduard LAU-10: https://www.eduard.com/aircraft-and-helicopters/1-48/lau-10-a-zuni-1-48.html?cur=2&&force_sid=egpcpqu43ti9lfclkmv3oduue61tcb7q Do the projectiles stick out that far in the Eduard part, or is that just for photographic purposes? Or, are the LAU-10s on that phantom actually empty? It looks like they have projectiles but they are farther back in the tubes.
  12. Looks like Eduard makes an early ejector seat: 648709 but they don't say what it is. Is it the martin baker H5?
  13. I have had reliable service from auroramodelshop and x-free hobby. Both have been much faster than they advertised in terms of delivery.
