Seen this in person and it is VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY IMPRESSIVE... Johnny's stuff ALWAYS IS... he knows I am coming so he usually brings a Phantom for me to enjoy.

When it comes to an individual aircraft how is it one airframe from one block lasts longer then others? What are the certain criteria for making an airframe defunct before another??? does anyone know the scoop. Just curious.

jimz66 replied to Brian P: Fightertown Decals's topic in Jet Modeling
Yeah me too. But I'd still like to see it. -
YOU should indicate what kit numbers they are. In other words what boxings for the Hasegawa kits as there are SO Many... for instance what offering for the F-14 do you have...

Fightertown New Sheets Available!
jimz66 replied to Brian P: Fightertown Decals's topic in Jet Modeling
Brian these are great. Are there more then one sheet in these sets. Seams like something is missing from the top sheet. Where are the yellow swords? -
Off to a great start. If you have trouble fitting the landing gear bay like I have, try sanding the top of the landing gear bay BEFORE you sand through the floor of the cockpit. I always run into that problem....

Great work man. WOW be careful with those metal clamps...

THREE DAYS holy cow. Thats MUCH LONGER then I thought it would take. WOW

I would be curious to know how long it takes to paint a jet. A line jet vs a cool jet like that really neat series of Chippy Ho paint schemes over the years. how long does it take to paint one vs the other. I mean total time. From the time it enters the paintbarn till the time it rolls out.

SORRY BRIAN if I had looked at your original post... DOH...

I thought it might have been 105. The one that was the F-14A that is now sitting at the Hazy Center in DC.... But I couldn't find any images that you described. I remember seeing that somewhere. I have the Hi Viz portions of the VF Decals sheet. I also have the one from Hasegawa I'll see if I can dig them up...

I spent a couple of hours looking on Airliners.net and couldn't find it.

Looking good Mike. -
I would like to make 162926 for a few of the last cruises. Would really like to know what font they used so I can make my own but no one is willing to tell me... YOu should have no trouble with those colors they were typical of the TPS scheme for those last few cruises.
