Jeff M.
Which is the better 1/72 A-6 kit - Italeri or Fujimi? Is the Italeri kit a rebox of the Fujimi kit? Thanks, Jeff
Andre
Which is the better 1/72 A-6 kit - Italeri or Fujimi? Is the Italeri kit a rebox of the Fujimi kit? They are different molds, both with their pros and cons. This question has been asked here a couple of times before - search is your friend. Randy Wise
Hey... I ain't gonna let this thread die too quickly. I like the Fujimi kit best. The scribed surface detail is more delicate and accurate for this scale. The Italeri kit is a really nice kit and I have both, but the look of the Fujimi model when built just hits me in the right spot. Besides, Fujimi makes the whole Intruder family - NICE!!! volzj
I'm with Randy. The fit is better on the Fujimi and the detail is much more to scale.
Gator52
I've built both and second the comments about the surface detail being a little finer on the Fujimi. I didn't see it mentioned elsewhere, so I'll add that the Italeri kit has the option for boarding ladders deployed. I enjoyed building both and in the future would base my choice strictly on the folded wings/boarding ladder options, in my opinion they are similar enough in all other respects. Have fun! habu2
IMO the Fujimi kit is the Woodie - plus the kit decals usually provide a variety of well done options.
Sebastijan
I've only built Italeri one so far and I like it a lot... the fit is good, overall detail, too... and it looks like an Intruder when finished! I guess you'll have to decide upon the options described above and maybe the price and availability...
doctorpepper
Fujimi kits sometimes have Cartograf decals...
Bulldog 09
Italeri. The wing fold is a big plus. Dave Fassett
illithid00
Since both kits sound like they're pretty good, build both! :D
