lgl007
Hi everyone, Well, I need to pick up a scribing template. First choice being the Hasegawa Trytool Scribing Template that seems to be quite nice followed by the Verlinden Aircraft Scribing template (all in 1/48 Scale)... trouble is I can't find them anywhere for sale... I'd like to keep my money in North America if possible but I'm just not finding anywhere that I can buy them from... At this point I'd take any of these two although my preference would be the Hase one as it is thinner and more plyable... Any ideas? -Greg
Gervais8
On the same idea... will these also work in 1/32 scale? RG

Scott is great to deal with and is the utmost trustworth person, in my opinion. dont hesitate to do business with him even if he is overseas.

Huey Gunner
http://greatmodels.com/ They carry Verlinden and Lion Roar templates and a bunch more made for specific A/C (Mostly Luftwaffe). Had to get my Hasagawa's from E-bay but I'm sure there was an easier way that I wasn't aware of. Good luck and have fun! thegoodsgt
You might consider the Lion Roar templates, which are available from Sprue Brothers.
lgl007
Are the Lion Roar templates as flexible as the Hasegawa ones? Again I've never used these just from what i know by reading this site... so any advice would be welcome. I know nothing about the Lion Roar ones... -Greg

T-bone
I just got the Hasegawa scribing template Set 1 from HLJ last week and think it cost about ~$15 USD including shipping. Took about a week to arrive to NC, USA.
CharlesMetz
I've always been thoroughly satisfied in my dealings with HobbyLink Japan. All of the Hasegawa scribing and riveting tools in their catalog can be found here. Charles Metz Edited August 9, 2007 by CharlesMetz
thegoodsgt
Greg, Yes, the Lion Roar templates are as flexible as the Verlinden. At the end of the day, it probably wouldn't hurt to have several (or all!) of the available templates so that you'll have the shape you need when you need it.
